Last week was a big week for Facebook at the F8 Developers Conference. For those who don’t know what the conference is all about, “F8 is for developers, entrepreneurs and innovators who are creating a more social web.” Lots of changes are on the way for Facebook. You may have already noticed a few of them already. Although I heard many mumblings and grumblings expressed last week about the initial changes to Facebook, I can honestly say that I am extremely impressed with what they are planning.

Mark Zuckerberg has made no secret that he wants Facebook to be “THE” destination on the web. A destination that has something for everyone, where each user has the freedom to express his/her own personalityin a variety of ways. Whether you are the type of person who only uses Facebook to only view friend’s photos or you’re the type who wants to fully immerse yourself in the apps, games, music and the complete user experience, Facebook wants you.

If you missed the Keynote address at F8 and want to learn more click here: F8 Keynote . Although it does require 1 hr and 42 minutes you can see the new features in action and learn more about what’s being planned for the future of Facebook.

A quick note to those of you who have expressed displeasure with the new changes. If you are hoping Facebook will return to the old format, that’s probably not happening. Facebook has invested a lot of time, money and resources in developing the new look, feel and functionality of the platform. They also have many partners that have a lot riding on the success of the new Facebook. You can also count on Facebook continuing to evolve in the days, weeks, months and years to come.

How will you take advantage of the new changes on Facebook?
