VineHave you used Vine yet?  Right now the app is available for Apple devices (Click HERE) and will be coming soon to Android.  Vine reminds me of the 8mm animation days. When using the app as “stop motion” animation you are definitely challenged to think fast. And we had all thought 140 characters on Twitter challenged us to be concise.

Vine offers brands the chance to reach a “brand” new audience in six seconds. Some brands have been early adopters but so far I have been more impressed with individuals that are using vine. Still relatively new, the door is wide open for brands to get creative. The time constraint eliminates the chance for the hard sell and increases the chance for someone to want to share a video that is well done.

Right now you can share a vine on Twitter or Facebook and embed the code directly from the app. You can share your videos on other platforms using a variety of methods.

If you need help with this give me a call. More options are likely to emerge for sharing directly from the app in the future; at lease we hope so.

There have been a few notable entries from brands that are taking advantage of the six seconds.

You may remember Calvin Klein’s amazingly quick response to the power outage at the Super Bowl this year. . .

Malibu Rum’s mixology definitely makes me thirsty. Very well done!
