I am taking a quick survey to see how you are connecting with your clients this holiday season. In the past, holiday cards and gifts were sent (gifts for your better clients). Some companies had elaborate holiday parties that clients were invited to attend. The economy, traditions, and dare I say return on investment are all determining factors in what companies are deciding to do this year. Many companies have decided to put a hold on the traditions for both employees and clients alike.
So how are you and/or your company addressing the holiday dilemma? Are you going with the same tradition, new tradition or no tradition of giving, in this digital age?
Remember, sometimes the decision to stick with tradition is a good idea. Let’s not forget how Clark Griswold felt that one special Christmas expecting the holiday bonus and getting the “Jelly of the Month Club” instead.
