So Google Plus is out there now to a select few. For those that haven’t heard about Google Plus you can check it out here: GOOGLE PLUS. You can also get in the queue to “Join the Project” (click it in the upper right hand side of your screen).
Some are suggesting that Google could give Facebook a run for their money. Time will tell but initially, dare I say that is a pretty big wall to climb? There are some cool features that could conceivably give other potential “competitors” in specific spaces some challenges. Skype for example may be challenged with the Hangout feature which allows up to ten people to join in “face-to-face-to-face-etc.” video chat. Should Microsoft be concerned with their new purchase?
I’m interested in the small business applications for connecting with clients, team members, vendors and others. At the time of this post I am unsure whether or not a user will be able to screen share. If so then companies like WebEx might be a potential target for Google Plus. If you have information about this type of functionality let me know.
So are you currently one of the chosen few that has been given access to Google Plus?
If so, will you use it?
Or are you waiting for the chance to use it?
